You can mount the battery pack on a dynamo hub, but they can't be powered by a dynamo hub without some serious hacking.
The problem is, a dyno-powered headlight or taillight is designed to be mounted onto the frame, not on the spinning wheel. Our lights are the opposite.
The power output from a dynohub comes out through the stationary part of the axle. If you connected your Monkey Light to this, you'd soon have a tangled power cable.
If the power output rotated with the wheel, you could probably make it work. We come from a DIY background, and if you're interested in hacking your own solution, we'd be happy to supply you with some information to get started!
